A Just Action - Cinematographer
This was the second film I shot on 16mm. I worked closely with the director for about 4 months. In addition to acting as cinematographer, I took on a producing role in pre-production. I am very proud of my role in the film. I think the colors and look work very well. The opening and ending jail scenes were shot in a garage, and I think it is difficult to tell. There were multiple long dolly shots that were challenging as well as a long handheld shot that consisted of my gaffer hollywooding an 1.2k HMI on his shoulder. Lastly, I like the continual "vertical bar" motif throughout the film.
